This congress, the most important in national terms and organized by the Portuguese Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, will have a strong presence this year – on October 21st and 22nd – by the HPA in communications on the topic of the Knee.
In fact, of the 24 presentations in this area, 8 are signed off by the HPA Saúde Group and also have professionals from other institutions such as the Algarve Biomedical Centre (University of the Algarve), the Local Health Unit of Litoral Alentejano, the Hospital Beatriz Ângelo, the Santa Maria Hospital and Vila Franca de Xira Hospital.
The themes testify to the work that the team has been developing since 2015 and which has already earned it being considered an international centre of training and research excellence by Smith & Nephew in specific knee instrumentation.
